Born in India, Neel's world travels have had a distinct effect on his art as he has worked to capture stories that have an enduring relevance. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Neel's 16mm short film about medical morality in war torn Iraq garnered praise in 6 film festivals including the 2009 Berlin East-West Film Competition.

In addition to his own directing credits, Neel is a professional editor, having cut marketing materials for Fox Searchlight's Academy Award winning film "Once" and EA's live action video game "Red Alert 3"and BioWare's fantasy epic "Dragon Age: Origins." In 2009, a trailer of his served as the world premiere for the song "This Is War" by Thirty Seconds To Mars. Neel has also edited several narrative pieces, including a short film starring Seth Rogen entitled "Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse." A feature film based on the short is now in development at Mandate Pictures.

Whether directing or editing, Neel brings his razor sharp storytelling instincts to bear, creating gripping narratives with lasting impact. His latest project, a supernatural drama titled "Dim Light," is in the 2010 festival circuit.
